Americas and the Caribbean. We visit the “Infamous Slave Dungeons” and “Gate of No Return” where they
were kept for several months with no sanitation and light.
With this trip it also allows you to experience the true culture of the motherland as we visit the Famous Ashanti
Kingdom for a Naming Ceremony for all those who want to be usher into the Ashanti Kingdom where local
Ashanti names will be giving to and also certificates will be given.
Experience night beach Bonfire session with African drumming and cultural performances and also A Pool Party
at the one of the most breathtaking Beach Resort in the Islands known as “AQUA SAFARI BEACH RESORT”
with one of the best Live bands performances and finest DJ’s in Accra Ghana. Barbecues and variety of drinks

Day 1, ACCRA | AFRICAN METROPOLIS 

You are met on arrival at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra the capital city of Ghana with cultural
drumming and dancing. Welcoming you a spectacular way and also letting the ancestors know that the scattered or the Diaspora’s have returned home. With spoken word and prayers from the elders giving you a warm welcome home. You are then transferred to your apartment.
Tailors and Seamstress will come to the apartment to talk to those who will like Akara dress and African wearsUpon arrival at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra the capital city of Ghana. There will be met at the airport with traditional cultural performances by dance and musical display to welcome you Home from the Diaspora’s as you come back this time around by “Door of Return.
This performances and dance displays are to signify how happy and grateful we are as people to witness your return for 400 years and over.
You are then transported in our air-conditioned vehicles to your hotels to relax for our Bonfire beach night and barbeques, drinks as well as performances of jazz and blues, highlife musicals by local artists.

 

NightLife Activity

After a restful day, we depart from the apartment to the hotel for the night beach where there will be performances by African cultural dancers and musical group and also performances from hiplife artist who is specialized on Lovers rock, Afro-Dancehall, Jazz and Blues, Highlife and more to make your night a memorable welcome home. There shall be all kind of drinks to food to make your night.

 

Day 2,  ACCRA CITY TOUR | KWAME NKRUMAH MAUSOLEUM | ARTS AND CRAFT CENTRE |  W.E DUOIS MESUEM 

 Accra, the capital of Ghana, is an interesting city that, although is quickly evolving, has kept its own identity,
reflected in both modern and old areas where traditional activities continue to hold sway.

A visit to a national park erected in memory of Osagyefo (the Messiah) Doctor Kwame Nkrumah, Ghana’s first
president and one of its founding fathers. Built on a former British polo field, it was the point where Nkrumah
declared independence in 1957. The park consists of five acres of land and holds a museum tracing Nkrumah’s
life. There are many personal items on display, but the centrepiece is the mausoleum, Nkrumah and his wife’s
final resting place.

A visit to William Edward Burghardt Du Bois was an African-American civil rights activist who became a citizen of Ghana in the 1960s. He was known as the ‘Father of Pan-Africanism’. The centre, where he and his wife
once lived, and where they are now buried, houses his personal library, a small museum with a handful of
personal effects such as his graduation robes. The couple’s mausoleum is surrounded by Asante stools, a
seminar room, a restaurant, a gallery, an amphitheatre and a research centre for Pan-African history and
culture.

The Arts Center where you will be warmly welcome by African drums. A visit to Ghana’s oldest open
market where there is variety of products. Explore through the wonderful African open markets where you will
see buyers bargaining.The Abgogloshie Yam Tubers markets, The Kokomba Markets where you could locate all
the slums of Ghana. A walk through the slums areas of the capital is worthy to experience.

 

Day 3, HISTORIC SLAVE CASTLES | ELMINA CASTLE | CAPE COAST CASTLE

In the morning, a visit to the Elmina Castle, the oldest European building in Africa, erected by the Portuguese in
the XV century. At different times the castle has been used as a warehouse to trade gold, ivory and, eventually,
slaves. The castle we visit today is the result of successive extension works and is recognized as a UNESCO
World Heritage site. Outside the castle, a wonderful fishing village with lots of large colorful fishing boats –
every day these canoes are guided by skilled fishermen across strong ocean waves and currents, “fighting” to earn a living.
The alleys in the old town have a lively atmosphere, going back to a time when Elmina was a wild colonial town.

 KAKUM NATIONAL PARK

A visit to the Kakum National Park, Ghana’s most famous parks. Take a brief walking tour on the forest floor where you will learn how our ancestors lived in the forest. See birds, butterflies, and perhaps catch a glimpse of the forests over 40 species of mammals including monkeys and the reclusive forest elephant. Proceed to the canopy walk. Kakum is home to Africa’s only aerial walkway through the tree canopy, a 1000 foot long and seven-bridge walkway with viewing platforms that reach heights of over 150 feet above the ground.
Donko Nsuo in Assin Manso is where the slaves were being kept less than a hundred kilometers from where the
slave ships were docked at Cape Coast and Elmina, the captives were encamped for their last bath with African
water, in a river known as “Donko Nsuo”, Slave River.

Giving back to the society is a good move so we have made an arrangement for a donation to the Children hospital here in Accra. Brothers and Sisters can also come along with supplies to support this donation to the less privilege and the sick children in the hospital. We will be becoming on a national Television on that day.

Day 4,  ACCRA-TAMALE | MOLE NATIONAL PARK | ZAINA LODGE |  SAFARI

Depart from Accra to the domestic airport at Kotoka International Airport for your domestic flight to Tamale Airport.
Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to Zaina Lodge at the Mole National Park. At Zaina Lodge, a stunning location situated on the escarpment overlooking the watering holes with a pleasant pool. The lodge offers a great base to explore the park. Do the evening Safari.
After a restful night, you will wake up in the African jungle for your morning foot safari, accompanied by your guide in the park with the possibility of viewing many different animals. After the morning foot safari, you return back to base.
You will depart 15kms on a dirt road from Zaina Lodge to Mognori Eco Village. In the late afternoon accompanied by your guide, you will take your last game drive.
* Mognori Eco Village
Sitting right on the edge of Mole National Park (about 10km east of the park’s visitor center), the village of Mognori has become a flourishing ecotourism venture. Villagers here offer various activities: canoe safaris on the river, where you’ll see monkeys, birds, and crocodiles; village tours, on which you’ll learn about shea butter production and traditional medicine; and drumming and dancing performances.

Over Night Zaina Lodge

Zaina Lodge offers so much enjoyment; for the eyes, the ears, and the belly. The
tented rooms are large, beautifully decorated, and comfortable.

Day 5 , KUMASI | ASHANTI KINGDOM | NAMING CEREMONY

Upon arrival in Kumasi, the historical and spiritual capital of the old Ashanti Kingdom. The Ashanti people were
one of the most powerful nations in Africa until the end of the XIX century when the British annexed Ashanti
Country to their Gold Coast colony. The tribute paid today to the Asantehene (ie: King) is the best evidence of
their past splendors and strength. With nearly one million inhabitants, Kumasi is a sprawling city with a fantastic
central market, one of the biggest in Africa. Every type of Ashanti craft (leather goods, pottery, Kente cloth) is
found here, along with just about every kind of tropical fruit and vegetable.
We visit the Ashanti Kingdom museum where the museum contains old Ashanti Kingdom history and war
weapons used against the British and their enemies. Since the Ashanti Kingdom is rich in gold in the continent
after South Africa, there is real gold in the museum one can see and also items that are made up of good.
Guns that are made up of Gold and more.
The Naming Ceremonies for our Brothers and Sisters too will take place at the Ashanti Kingdom palace. A
durbar of Kings and Queens will be seated for this occasion to make prayers and traditions to ushered them
into the Kingdom where Ashanti local names will be given to them alongside certificate to prove.

After the naming ceremony, the occasion will be graced with some traditional dances and cultural
performances by the Adowa Traditional dancers. Photo shoot with the Kings, Queens, and Elders will also take
place. A certificate will then be presented to all those took part in the naming ceremony.

 

 

Day 6 ,  AQUA SAFARI  | CRUISES | KAYAKING | DRINKS AND BARBECUES

In the heart of the Islands where Aqua Safari Resort is situated is a very beautiful place to hang out with. We depart to Aqua Safari early in the morning to experience the breathtaking environment where there is going to be a pool party for all as we wine, dine and party. Drinks and Barbecues all available. Music from Liveband to
fresh tracks from DJ’S will take you to a different level of excitement.
Boats and Ship cruises are also possible for anyone who will want to go on a cruise on the Islands, Kayaking and also motor cruises. Its all full of excitement and fun. African dancing class for all those who want to learn some
African dance moves. Shesha smoking and more.

Day 7, HOHOE | WLI FALLS | MOUNT AFADJATO 

On the final day we visit the Wli falls.The Wli waterfalls is the highest water fall in West Africa. The falls is
known locally as Agumatsa waterfalls – meaning, “Allow Me to Flow.”.A walk through the forest of the Agumatsa
wildlife sanctuary offers a chance to see a large colony of fruit bats, butterflies, birds, monkeys and baboons

Day 8, FREE DAY | RESTFUL DAY | AFRICAN WEAR AND ANKARA DELIVERY|DEPARTURE

It will be a free day for some rest while wait for your departure. Tailors and Seamstress will come over to the  apartment to deliver African wears and Ankara for those who made an order.
